Today, the Crowley Fish Foundation (CFF) had the privilege of partnering with Valley Outdoors (VO) and the Two Wolf Foundation (TWF) to take five veterans fishing out on the lake. This event was part of TWF’s ongoing land stewardship volunteer work in the Eastern Sierra with VO, and it was an opportunity to honor these brave individuals who have served our nation. TWF’s mission is to assist veterans in reintegrating into mainstream society after their service, and through this collaboration, we were able to offer them a day of relaxation, camaraderie, and connection with nature.

It was truly an honor for CFF to host these veterans, who have given so much to protect our freedoms. We are incredibly grateful to CFF board members Ernie Gulley, Joe Contaldi, Hodges “Fish Kisser” Glass, and Andre Nersesian for volunteering their time to guide these remarkable individuals. The morning was filled with peaceful moments on the water, deep conversations, and plenty of laughter. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of giving back to those who have sacrificed for our country, and we hope to continue creating meaningful experiences like this for our veterans in the future. This day was a small token of appreciation for the service and dedication these veterans have shown, and we are honored to have been a part of it.
