Crowley Fish Foundation was pleased to be a co-sponsor of the 37th Annual Kid’s Fish Festival at the SnowCreek Ponds on Old Mammoth Road, Mammoth Lakes on July 25, 2026. This popular event for kids 14 and under was from 8 am to 1 pm. Rods and reels were provided and volunteers from the Crowley Fish Foundation team and other co-sponsoring organizations were there to teach casting techniques and help the kids catch trout. Fisheries staff from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife was also on hand to teach the kids about California’s trout fisheries, and kids received information on the life of a hatchery trout along with a special coloring book and a junior fishing license.
Here are a few pictures from the festival. The Inyo Register article reporting on the event is also reprinted after the photos (scroll to the end).
